A cold and wet afternoon spent wandering the natural conservation area at The Gurdies. I had never explored this area before and was longing to do so. In a short walk I observed 2 Eastern Grey Kangaroos, a Swamp Wallaby, Crimson Rosellas, Scarlet Robins, Rufous Whistlers, Superb Fairywrens, many more small birds, and lots of wildflowers. Well worth spending some time there when the weather is better.
