Cranbourne Botanic Gardens
A pleasant afternoon wandering around the Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne, the sky was a little bit grey making photography difficult but there is always something to take a snap of.
White-naped and White-plumed Honeyeaters were in a feeding frenzy amongst the eucalypts and it was a matter of "which way do I point the camera?" A friendly male Superb Fairy Wren actually got too close to photograph, I had to wait until he had backed off.
The Yellow-billed Spoonbills are still resident at Cranbourne, but perched high in a tree against a bright grey sky made it hard to take a decent picture. A little bit of photoshop changed the background for me, but the bird is still the same.
