Cape Schanck and Mornington Peninsula National Park

More cloudy and wet weather, it's really hard to get motivated to go anywhere when its like this. Cape Schanck is a beautiful place and well worth the visit. I was looking for sea birds but only saw a gannet and a few gulls, no whales either. A Sooty Oystercatcher was the only bird that gave me a photo opportunity.

The surrounding bush was abuzz with thornbills, a few squabbling wattlebirds, a single Grey-shrike Thrush, and an Eastern Spinebill. There are always kangaroos to photograph at Greens Bush, part of the Mornington Peninsula National Park.
