A couple of nice sunny days and a few surprises at Coolart Wetlands. A Swamp Harrier was first to catch my eye quickly followed by a pair of Wedge Tailed Eagles. It's unusual to see both species in the same area.
The birdhide provided excellent views of Australian Shovelers, Hardheads, Chestnut Teals, a single White Faced Heron, a solitary Great Egret, and a whole colony of White Ibis.
A Black Swan is already nesting over at the secondary wetland area and can easily be viewed from the viewing platform.
