Watching Gannets is always entertaining, particularly when there is a large number of them feeding. Off the coast of Mornington there is often quite a few of them to observe.
They circle a patch of the bay, bank, and suddenly dive into the water before emerging with a fish which is quickly swallowed. They will do this time and time again, before heading off back to Pope's Eye or Mud Island.
