Blue Skies at Coolart

A beautiful warm spring day at Coolart wetlands really helped to bring ou the local birds. A Swamp Harrier was quite busy searching for an easy meal while a Chestnut Teal was busy looking for a mate. The Great Egret displayed some breeding plumage and enjoyed dancing with a White Necked Heron. In the car park, a pair of Tawny Frogmouths were resting before commencing the night shift.

  1. Looks fantastic. The top Swampy is a real beauty and love the white-necked heron...and the frogmouths!

  2. Looks like you've had a great time, and bringing back these pictures is real "must"!
Well done, I wish I could see a Frogmouth for myself one day!
